Amy Klein Molk is an education advocate, former ed-tech entrepreneur, and Denver Public Schools (DPS) parent who was elected in November to represent central Denver’s at-large  Denver Public Schools Board of Education. Amy is a mom of two DPS students and previously worked as a paraprofessional in Denver Public Schools, supporting students with disabilities. She founded Beanstalk, an educational technology company that offered interactive learning content, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has also led mentoring and advocacy programs for youth and worked in the nonprofit and entertainment sectors.

We wanted to have Amy on to discuss her very early impressions of board service, policy governance, board-staff relations and intra-board relations, and the most pressing issues facing the district.
